Indian International Film Festival of Queensland is an annual competitive film event. This competitive film festival is open to Indian film makers, film makers of Indian origin or film makers of Indian subjects. The festival artistic team led by the Artistic Head and Advisors nominate feature films to compete in the festival.

International and Australian Premieres are preferred for the competition section. The competition jury gathers important international writers, directors, actors and personalities and aims to reward the Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography awards. This unique film festival in southern hemisphere accepts feature films and documentary features in the competition section. We also have a seperate shorts competition for the Best Short Film judged by the audience.The minimum length of features must be 70min, for documentaries 55min.
